COVID-19 Update: Message to Our Community and SME Stakeholders
With the shut down of all non-essential services in Ontario announced today, SOSCIP continues to watch the situation carefully as we all work together to contain the COVID-19 outbreak. We encourage you to stay updated and informed about the COVID-19 outbreak, and so, we have curated a list of trusted sources (below) for relevant information related to the pandemic.
For entrepreneurs affected by COVID-19, we encourage you to check out the Business Supports section. We know that small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are amongst those hardest hit by the effects of physical distancing, isolation and quarantine.
Resources are being made available to SMEs by the Business Development Bank of Canada and Export Development Canada that can help cope with the impact on our businesses.
Despite these trying times, SOSCIP continues to operate as normal. SOSCIP projects, run on our advanced computing platforms, are accessible remotely and are not affected by recent developments. We are open to receive project applications before our next monthly intake, and our team is available to respond to any inquiries, should you have them.
Whether you have a question about a proposal or just want to connect, we look forward to hearing from you soon.
