SOSCIP Welcomes Dr. Tatiana Lomasko

SOSCIP is proud to officially welcome Dr. Tatiana Lomasko as the Head of Operations & Strategic Partnerships. A global executive with more than 20 years of multidisciplinary expertise in strategy and implementation. Dr. Lomasko brings extensive partnership-building expertise and strategic project management skills to the SOSCIP ecosystem.

“I’m honored to be part of the SOSCIP family and to play a role in its mission to help Canadian companies adopt technological innovation through data science,” said Dr. Lomasko. “It’s exciting to be part of a thriving consortium that is putting industry innovation in action.”

“We are delighted to announce the expansion of our team with Dr. Lomasko at the helm of operations and strategic partnerships,” said Dr. Jennifer MacLean, Executive Director, SOSCIP. “With more than 100 data science R&D projects in the pipeline, and many more in development, SOSCIP will benefit from Dr. Lomasko’s extensive skillset in solidifying important partnerships between government, industry and academia.”

Dr. Lomasko led computer science and bioinformatic operations for Scion, New Zealand’s Crown research institute that specializes in research, science and technology. Similarly, she managed the informatics and bio-computing department for the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research.

Her position, above all, will enable industry and academic researchers to build new partnerships and strengthen existing ones. With the aim to help deliver data science solutions important to the future of Canadians.
